This is The Long Road's 4th year and it has been growing every year. It's the UK’s premier outdoor camping festival celebrating genuine Country, Americana and Roots.
On site, guests can find five stages of live music entertainment as well as a classic car show, dance classes, wellbeing workshops, artisan crafts, an awesome kids area & much more.
Under 16s (15 or under) must be accompanied by an adult aged 18+. There is a maximum of four people aged under 16 per adult. Child tickets are free but must be added to your order for the child to gain admission.

When is The Long Road Festival 2024?
The Long Road Festival takes place Friday 23rd - Sunday 25th August 2024.
Where is The Long Road Festival?
The Long Road Festival is located at Stanford Hall, Lutterworth, Leicestershire, LE17 6DH.
Does The Long Road Festival have any age restrictions?
Under 16s (15 years and under) must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. A maximum of one under 16 can be accompanied by an adult aged 18-20, and four under 16s can be accompanied by an adult aged 21 or over.
Proof of age may be required on entry and all bars operate a strict Challenge 25 Policy.
At the festival entrance they will accept clear colour photocopies of passports and driving licences. The festival reserves the right to refuse admission if there is any doubt that the ticket holder is under the entry age requirement.
Can I re-enter The Long Road Festival?
Camping ticket holders will be allowed to re-enter the campsite at any time by showing their wristband.
There is no re-entry for Day ticket and Weekend No Camping ticket holders. Please note, if a Weekend No Camping ticket holder leaves the site on Saturday, they will not be re-admitted until the arena re-opens on Sunday.
We do also understand that certain extreme circumstances can arise where leaving the site is essential. In this case, security will use their discretion and permission won’t be unreasonably withheld.
Can I bring food & drink into The Long Road Festival?
Camping ticket holders can bring a reasonable amount of food plus the following alcohol quantities for personal consumption into the campsite upon initial entry only:
1 x 70cl spirits (no greater than 40% ABV) and 12 x 440ml cans beer/cider
OR
12 x 250ml cans pre-mixed spirits
OR
3 litres of wine and 12 x 440ml cans beer/cider
No food or drink can be taken into the main festival arena. However, you will be allowed sealed bottles of water up to 750ml, and empty unsealed bottles can be brought in to be refilled at the water points. No glass is allowed anywhere on site, including in campervans or caravans. Please decant into plastic containers before you leave home.
The legal age to bring alcohol into the festival is 18+. There is an ID check on entry and any alcohol will be taken off you if you are found to be underage.
For customers with specific dietary requirements, you will be allowed a reasonable amount of food to be brought into the festival arena for personal consumption. This must be confirmed in advance of the festival by writing to info@thelongroad.com.
Can I bring chairs & blankets into The Long Road Festival?
Fold up chairs and blankets are permitted, however, if you intend to bring them into the arena, it is requested that they are not used in areas that may cause congestion or in the area between the Main Stage and the mix tower.
Picnic bench seating can be found around bar and food outlets.
Can I bring my bag into The Long Road Festival?
Please pack light. To maximise the safety of everyone attending The Long Road, all customers may be subject to a thorough security check when they arrive.
Please be patient if there are queues and familiarise yourself with the prohibited items before you arrive to avoid unnecessary delays at the security checks.
We recommend you don’t bring any unnecessary valuables. Unfortunately, festival campsites can attract opportunistic thieves. Keep valuables safe and away from the door of your tent.
Can I bring my dog/s into The Long Road Festival?
You are welcome to bring ‘Cracker Jack’ to enjoy The Long Road, but please read and acknowledge the following:
The Long Road is full of exciting entertainment but don’t forget your dog’s welfare. There are lots of water points throughout the site for you to fill your dog’s water bowl and make sure to give them shelter from the sun.
Festivals can be noisy, busy places so we’d suggest that not all dogs will enjoy the experience. Please consider if this environment is right for your dog before deciding to bring them along.
Owners will find a free running exercise field to take your dog into, with bins for dog waste. For more information on the dog park rules, please refer to The Long Road official website.
