Bournemouth is well known as a beautiful english seaside town full of old people BUT its also known for its HUGE array of DJing talent and John Black happens to be one of them!!! Born John Simon White, the 28 year old born and bred cherry has been heavily involved in the hard dance scene for many years but has recently decided to take up the art of turntablism!!! Armed with his 1210's, John first begun mixing in the early parts of 2006 and within a year he had bagged himself his first gig @ Frenzy for there Future Hero`s night, John must have done something right because he was booked again for the 2 following Frenzy`s.
Since then things started looking up for John as he found himself being booked by a few of the local promotions such as Resonate/Rebirth/Resistance/Frenzy/+12. His proudest moment to date was being asked to play for the Resonate - UK Legends night @ Crank.
It was around October 07 that John was getting bored with just helping promote the different nights and wanted to get his foot inside the door of promotion, this was when he secured a venue to put on this night, and on the 3rd of November 2007 Bournemouth saw the birth of Implosion. John still continues to run Implosion and the nights keep getting bigger and better.
Expect big things in 2008!!!
