Lochgoilhead's favourite festival - brought to you from the organisers of Gig in the Goil - returns from 3rd - 5th May with a fantastic lineup of live music, plus local food & drink.

The 2024 event will take place in the grounds of the Village Hall, with 2 stages featuring some of the best traditional, folk & acoustic music from across Scotland.

Featuring Beluga Lagoon, Torridon, Clann An Drumma, Craig McIntyre & the Fyne Collective and many more TBA.

Live in Loch Goil is held in around the Village Hall in the stunning village of Lochgoilhead, located within Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park, 6 miles off the A83 Rest & Be Thankful, and just over an hour from Glasgow. Both stages are undercover, although there are bars, seating areas and food outlets outside. The festival will showcase a variety of live music over 2 (Main Stage in the Marquee and Acoustic Stage in the Hall).

A daily bus service operates from Helensburgh to Lochgoilhead (except Sundays)

Alternatively, Lochgoilhead is 13 miles from Arrochar & Tarbet Railway Station (with trains from Glasgow Queen Street), and 6 miles from the Rest & be Thankful, where buses between Glasgow & Oban or Campbeltown often stop - please check with your driver before boarding.

There is no car parking at the festival site. We urge you (where possible) to car share or walk from your accommodation if you're staying nearby. We are walking distance from Drimsynie Estate and from anywhere in Lochgoilhead Village. If you are driving to the event, then please park in the main village carpark, across from the Post Office. Please note, Hall Road will be local access only.
