Biffy set for biggest dates yet

Scottish rockers Biffy Clyro have announced a national pre-Christmas jaunt which will take in a major gig in Manchester.Simon Neil and the Johnston twins will take their raucous live show to Manchester Academy on December 19th, after playing gigs in London - at the Brixton Academy - and the Birmingham Academy.
The trio - who released their last album Puzzle in mid 2007 - will then play their biggest headline show to date at Glasgow's SECC venue on December 20th, before finishing for the festive season.
Biffy are then to start working on a new album, which is set for release during 2009.
Meanwhile, in other tour news, country singer Micah P Hinson has announced that his winter tour will visit Manchester this November.
The singer - who recently released a new album, Micah P Hinson and the Red Empire Orchestra - will play the Ruby Lounge on November 2nd, as well as gigs in Birmingham, London and Brighton.
