Fat Freddy's ready to Drop in to Manchester

Kiwi dub steppers Fat Freddy's Drop are to bring their unique live show to Manchester later this year as part of a short UK tour.

In celebration of the release of their as-yet-untitled second album in November, the band will play Manchester Academy on November 15th, the day after a gig in Birmingham.

The following month, the band - who gained worldwide success with their multi-award winning debut album Based On A True Story - will play gigs in London and Norwich.

In other tour news, psychedelic folk duo The Dodos are to return to the UK in September for a national tour.

The San Franciscan band will play gigs in Manchester - at the Roadhouse - Sheffield and Birmingham before finishing up at the ULU in London on September 16th.

Earlier this month, the band released their debut album Visiter across the world, with substantial success.
