On 6th November 2008, London’s most spectacular winter attraction, the Natural History Museum’s Ice Rink and Christmas Fair, will open for the winter season. Running until 18th January 2009, the Ice Rink will welcome visitors to experience London’s most iconic outdoor ice skating rink. Whether you are a novice or an expert, come and skate against the most stunning backdrop London has to offer.
Located on the east lawn of the prestigious museum and now in its fourth year, the Natural History Museum Ice Rink has established itself as the place to be seen skating in the Capital.
The Christmas Fair makes a welcome return with 25 chalets, and new exhibitors joining the fair each week, visitors are sure to find something for everyone. The ideal shopping destination to avoid the crowds, the Fair will sell everything from original clothing to handcrafted jewellery, unique ceramics and toys. The hugely popular Café Bar (voted one of London’s best festive bars by The Evening Standard in 2006) will offer visitors a birdseye view of the ice. Visitors can relax on the open-air balcony, soaking up the atmosphere while sipping a glass of mulled wine or a hot chocolate.
