A series of intimate dates with the Kaiser Chiefs have been lined up for this autumn, as the band gets set to promote their latest album.

Ricky Wilson, Peanut and the boys - who played the V Festival last weekend - will start the jaunt in their home city of Leeds, playing at the Academy venue on October 8th.

From there, the band will play Manchester Academy on October 13th - the same day as they release third album Off With Their Heads.

With support coming from Late Of The Pier and The Hair, the Chiefs will play shows in Southampton, Reading, Glasgow and Leicester, before finishing off with two dates in London - at the Kentish Town Forum - on October 20th and 21st.

Meanwhile, Kaisers drummer Nick Hodgson has hit back at claims from Noel Gallagher that the band sound like The Monkees.ADNFCR-1603-ID-18739025-ADNFCR
