Fresh from supporting Skint and Demoralised and performing on ESPN's Talk Of The Terrace, Daystar release their latest single 'Don't Need This' on March 12th.

Date published: 22nd Feb 2012
Taken from their self-titled debut album and directed by Tunafish Media's James McDonald, the video follows lead-singer Simon Monaghan around a club full of clowns and Monaghan himself describes the song as being about 'the pretension and conformity of the murky underbelly of the Manchester club scene and the social whores that frequent it.'
The video, which was also produced by Richard Brooks and Smudge Jones, has already clocked up over 3,000 views on YouTube and to mark the release of the single the band will be playing at Manchester's This Feeling at FAC251 on the 16th March.
