This summer will herald a silver jubilee for one of rave culture's true icons - Carl Cox. But far from what you'd expect, the dance music veteran returns to his roots for an exclusive, and downright unmissable skank out at Birmingham's Que Club on May 8th.
Reuniting with former MC Magika, a legendary partnership that began back in 1991, the duo will be revisiting the inimitable energy of that golden era with a celebratory jaunt through the very best sounds of old skool drum&bass, rave and jungle.
Though many will be well acquainted with the statuesque Brit's mastery of house and techno, this will be a one off chance to witness Cox commanding the genres that kicked it all off, with the chemistry between him and Magika (as heard above) a must see in a venue that has in the past boasted stellar appearances from Daft Punk, Andy C and Sven Vath.
Those that missed out on Carl Cox in his early rave career are in for an absolute treat. Grab your Carl Cox and MC Magika tickets here.
