This year has already seen Beatnik curate a run of banging parties starring the likes of Circus boss man Yousef and Chris Lorenzo and Kane's all conquering Cause & Effect project. Next in their sights is one of London's freshest electronic music stars - Alexis Raphael, who will be bringing his boisterous underground vibes to the revered rave edifice on July 26th.

After earning his stripes across the Pirate radio stations of North London in the nineties, Alexis furthered his significance in the fabric of London clubbing with a series of residencies at clubs like The Cross and Bagley's, which showcased his brilliant and unique vision of house and techno.

He soon backed up his DJing credentials with a sterling run of hot releases on labels like Lower East, Heidi's Jackathon Jams and the mighty Hot Creations, which boldly underlined his rising status in the modern house arena. 'I Know' was rightly regraded as modern clasic, with its sleazy bass synths, soulful melody and clinical beat structure reworking Tiga's 'You Gonna Want Me' in magnificent fashion.
