Belladrum Festival 2012 on Sale Today!

Fans of the Belladrum Festival in Inverness have a chance to secure themselves ‘a place in the fun’ at the 2012 Belladrum Festival when early bird tickets go on sale at 9am this morning, 29th September.

Belladrum which takes place 3rd and 4th August 2012 is now in it's ninth year and Skiddle are pleased to be returning as the main ticketing partner for the festival, using our RapidScan ticketing service. Simply put, minutes after buying a ticket it's in your inbox, ready for the sunshine in 2012.

The First 250 tickets will be held at this year's price. Thereafter tickets will be £95 each (+ booking fee). Campervan/Caravan tickets and Child 12 & Under tickets will also be available.

In 2011 the festival sold out months before the event took place, and has completely sold out the last three years. In 2011 tickets flooded onto the secondary ticketing market at overinflated prices, with many of these so called 'sales' having no tickets in hand and many customers left disappointed


“We will still be issuing some hard tickets for mainly local outlets to sell but these will be very much in the minority this year,” said festival promoter Joe Gibbs. “It’s a shame that we have to concentrate on e-tickets because it limits the number of outlets we can use, but the dishonesty of a few unscrupulous characters has forced our hand. People should avoid buying off social networks, gumtree, ebay etc.”

Belladrum 2012 takes place in the beautiful Highland surroundings of Belladrum Estate, near Beauly in Inverness-shire. The independent festival has built a reputation for its eclectic line-ups, its offbeat non-musical entertainments and its all-ages approach. The festival won a VisitScotland Thistle Award in 2009 and is a past winner of the Grassroots Festival Award at the UK Festival Awards, the festival industry’s ‘oscars’.
