Big Country star Stuart Adamson passed talent to daughter
The musicians daughter Kirsten Adamson releases debut album and proves music is in the family genes.

Stuart Adamson a well known name in the music industry and the Scottish music scene as frontman of Big Country, Co-founder and guitarist of Skids passes on his talent to daughter Kirsten Adamson.
Kirsten is no stranger to the music industry. Born into it, raised with it, classically trained from a young age and with a passion that has to be at least a little genetic, she combines her experiences from childhood summers spent in Tennessee and influences such as Kate Bush to form a genre-defying form of music that needs to be heard to be believed. Part country, part pop, part rock and part something of her own. This can all be seen on Kirsten's eponymous debut album.
After setting up a kick starter fund the growing electro pop icon Kirsten Adamson will be setting of on debut Uk tour to take the new BBC Radio featured album to a city near you. On the 3rd of April the band will return to Edinburgh for their homecoming gig at The Voodoo Rooms.
