Manchester's irregular basement rave returns to Soup Kitchen this Easter, and this time it'll be in two of the safest pairs of hands around; those of Kelvin Andrews and Luke Unabomber.

Easter Sunday is going to get dark, dirty and distinctly unholy this year, as the Soup Kitchen's intimate basement parties all night to some messy musical business courtesy of these two stalwarts of the scene.
Kelvin Andrews has many disguises, from Candy Flip to Sure is Pure to Soul Mekanik. But it’s his DJ sets at Electric Chair that most Mancunian folk will rave about. He regularly played in the shack at the Music Box and appears at most End of Year Riots as well as at Electric Elephant. Alongside his production partner, Danny Mekanik, he has remixed Sister Sledge, Doobie Brothers and Aretha Franklin to name a few and produced tracks for Robbie Williams including his number one hit ‘Rock DJ’.
Joining Kelvin will be Manchester DJ legend Luke Unabomber. When he’s not swimming, doing yoga, shouting about Sheffield or propping up the bar at his Chorlton bar Electriks, he can be found producing and DJing under his ‘Unabombers’ name with partner Justin. Luke is part of the team behind Electric Elephant, Electriks Bar, Homo Electric and of course the club night that changed everything for Manchester's club scene; Electric Chair
Blackout is brought to you by the people behind two of Manchester’s late night institutions; El Diablo’s Social Club and Funkademia, who have come together to bring Manchester an unusual, irregular and unexpected club night.
Tickets for Blackout Easter Special are now available through Skiddle, priced at £6. The capacity for this event is strictly limited and tickets will sell out - so don't hang about.
