Chelcee Grimes is a true future superstar. In her early teens, Liverpool born Chelcee combined her songwriting and musical development with being one of the best young strikers at Liverpool FC where, by the age of 17 she had become their record goalscorer?with offers to turn pro she was faced with a crossroads for her dedication and there could be only 1 winner ? music. In November 2009 Chelcee was unknowingly entered into Juice FM?s Search for a Star, with her first performance of the first song she ever wrote she won the competition and soon signed to Sony/RCA before embarking on 2 years of intensive development on and off stage. Consistently writing brilliant urban tinged pop songs packed with hooks and lyrical twists she has shared stages with everyone from Tinie Tempah to Jessie J (even duetting with Jessie on a recent Liverpool show) and now, having signed her new deal with Nettwerk/Silver Fox, been voted by the public as best up and coming new act at the Juice FM Style Awards and with her full band delivering barnstorming live sets Chelcee is firing on all fronts and tipped for stardom in 2014.
