Detroit has produced some of the most influential electronic artists of our time. With the city's sound forging such a forward thinking approach to house music and techno, it has remained a vital part of all current music, and is regularly cited as a major influence for any successful producer.

None come more respected than Lenny and Lawrence Burden, a.k.a Octave One. Appearing at Content almost 2 years ago, their performance is one that is still talked about, as they tore up the Manchester venue and left in their wake one of the most satisfying musical experiences the night has ever put on.

As regular features on such well respected labels as Transmat, Resistance, and Tresor, as well as setting up their own iconic label 430 West, the Detroit siblings have consistently produced the most dynamic and progressive techno the scene has ever encountered. Their live set on Friday 26th April will be something well worth seeing, as the two will create a musical melee of twisted, open-minded, unbridled techno right in front of your eyes, as they build the music with machines and studio equipment, to create a one off experience, a true flavour of Detroit. We’re really quite excited about what they are going to come up with, knowing that their overwhelming passion and high energy performances are guaranteed to set the Joshua Brooks venue on fire!
