New Order, Buraka Som Sistema, Luciano, Reboot (live) are amongst the first names announced for the Serbian festival this July.
Robert Dietz, Kenny Larkin and Maayan Nidam have also been confirmed to appear.
Legendary Manchester band New Order are the first headline act to be announced for the main stage, and will perform songs from their iconic back catalogue on Friday 13th July in their Exit Festival debut.
Over on the Fusion Stage, Portuguese world music sensation Buraka Som Sistema make a welcome return to Exit. Effortless blending techno beats with the African kuduro genre, Buraka Som Sistema are renowned for their energetic and explosive troupe of dancers and MCs.
Gearing up to take to the decks in the legendary Dance Arena for 2012 are Luciano, Reboot Live, Kenny Larkin, Robert Dietz and Maayan Nidam for a special Cadenza Records showcase on Friday 13th July. The Dance Arena is renowned for its incredible energy and set within a moat of the fortress walls. From techno to electro to dirty house to house with a disco twist, the Dance Arena covers all tastes and will keep you dancing all night long.
Taking place from Thursday 12th – Sunday 15th July, in the magical Petrovaradin Fortress overlooking the river Danube, Exit continues to deliver the most adventurous and value for money festival experience, with a diverse and cutting edge line up, cheap food and drink onsite and the best campsite entertainment whilst bathing in the hot Balkan sunshine.
