It's been a stratospheric 12 months for Maya Jane Coles - or MJ as she is commonly known.
With 2011 accolades including DJ Mag's 'Producer of the Year', Mixmag's 'Best Breakthrough DJ', the Ibiza DJ Awards' 'Best Newcomer' and un-ending praise from peers, critics and fans alike, it's safe to say that this unique 24 year old has made her mark.
But she's not resting on her successes. Oh no. The British/Japanses producer is taking 2012 by the jugular, with a schedule that sees her playing in 20 different countries in the first half of the year alone. She's already stormed the WHP on New Year's Day, will headline the Sunday at this month's Bugged Out weekender, and will play a string of 10 UK dates next month before jetting off for an enviable collection of international dates.
2012 will also see the release of Maya's debut album, which will only further cement her position as one of the leading new artists of recent times.
