Back to Basic’s have managed to hook in one of the most important figureheads in Detroit techno - Carl Craig. At 44 years old, Carl Craig has become one of the most respected veterans from Motor City, leading the second wave of innovators and setting the benchmark for producers of electronic music. Since bursting onto the scene in 1991 under his own name and '69' alias amongst many others, the pioneering visionary has regularly outdone himself by introducing inspiration from jazz, to soul, right through to world music into a futuristic aesthetic that is uniquely his own.

His stature in the scene is matched by his incredible ability to connect with the crowd whilst DJing, taking his audience on a journey through contrasting styles and forward thinking soundscapes that connects with the mind and heart. 

His appearance at The Warehouse, Leeds is an unmissable foray into the far reaching sounds of techno, an essential for event for the true techno fan.

He will be joined by Manchester lad and ex Sankeys front man Jozef K, as well as the massively popular Denney. Back to Basics have outdone themselves once again.
