2ManyDJs are a team that need little introduction. Responsible for headlining some of the biggest nights around the world, the Belgian brothers David and Stephen Dewaele have been throwing DJ sets that are in a different league to their peers. The guys behind incredible live dance act Soulwax have long since been the toast of dance music innovation, one of the few artists that seem genuinely uninhibited by formula and genre confines. Their DJing outing as 2ManyDJs has seen them expand on their eclectic party starting antics to rapturous receptions the world over.

Effortlessly combining genres and styles from all corners of the musical universe, they have placed themselves as kings of the mashup. Often mixing somewhere in the region of 45 tracks in a single hour, and putting together some of the most exciting bootlegs you’re likely to hear, their high energy sets and incredible skill are an absolute joy to behold. With a certain amount of tongue in cheek involved, the duo are impossible to dislike, with their effortless cool and charisma shining through in their whirlwind performances. Their headline slot at Musika will be absolutely essential, we can’t think of a better act to get a birthday party fired up than these two irrepressible Belgians.

They will be joined by JG Wilkes from Optimo fame. The legendary Glasgow night (also called Optimo) which ran from 1997 til the end of 2010 was one of the biggest nights in Scotland, becoming popular mainly through its main DJs JG WIlkes and JD Twitch. In a similar way to 2ManyDJs, Optimo became renowned for refusing to stick within genre boundaries, throwing what The Skinny called ‘one of Scotland's best and most charismatic nights’. With JG Wilkes playing all over the world, expect a dazzling display of skill and dancefloor dynamite to really get the party started.
