Slide’s record throughout the summer has been impeccable. With this year already seeing the all conquering A Love from Outer Space duo Andrew Weatherall and Sean Johnston, house music veteran Derrick Carter and electro pathfinders Hot Chip headline the London night, Slide’s reputation as discerning party starters continues to grow, and with good reason.

Dimitri from Paris will be providing beats that go thump in the night for Slide’s Halloween Disco on Saturday 26th. A firm favourite of the Slide family, Dimitri’s arrival at The Prince of Wales will mark his fourth appearance for the tastemaking London night. 

The self styled French Ambassador of stylish club sounds is one of his country’s finest exports, and has since 1995 been responsible for a steady output of quality disco and house, all bearing the hallmarks of Dimitri’s distinctly cool and sophisticated aesthetic. With his inspiration coming from an unlikely source of faux jazz from the 1950’s, Dimitri has combined that suave bygone attitude with his experience as a house DJ and intense love for dance music, with results being consistently mesmerizing. Becoming one of the first electronic producers to become a Knight of the Arts and Letters in France, Dimitri’s name has become on the most respected in his field, a genuine innovator that continues to influence a generation.

His set at Slide’s Halloween Disco places an unmissable chance at your feet, to see the man himself  in an intimate setting doing what he does best. Support comes from one of the rising stars of the remix and edit scene: The Reflex.
