The not for profit, charity fundraising Triplefest makes its return to the much loved small working farm venue on the A523 between Leek and Macclesfield from August 24th. Featuring three days of action-packed entertainment and family fun, Triplefest has in the past twenty years raised £150,000 for local and national charitable causes, as well as provided second to none entartainment, making it the undesputed highlight of Staffordshire's cultural calendar.

Starting the ball rolling will be the Big Tent events on Saturday 24th August. With a line up traditionally kept hush hush until the actual day, expect a bill featuring world class entertainers and TV artists. With previous acts including the likes of Syd Little of Little & Large fame, award winning comedy troupe Grumbleweeds and the incredible one man band Bruce Thompson, expect a top selection of entertainers to keep the family thoroughly entertained.

The Sunday sees Welly Fest make up the second part of the festival tripleheader. Billed as Staffordshire’s largest music and beer festival, attendees can look forward to seven hours worth of live music, covering rock music, reggae, traditional irish and even indie. For lovers of a fine drop of ale, there will be a range of forty different beers to choose from, and for those after a bit of action, they can get stuck into a bit of five-a-side footy or a spot of tug-o-war.

Drawing things to a close on Bank Holiday Monday will be The Country Fayre. Featuring stunt riders, dog displays, outdoor stalls, car boot sales, country crafts, classic cars, and a whole host of other stuff - the Country Fayre provides the perfect day out for people of all ages this bank holiday.

With three full days of top drawer entertainment lined up for the bank holiday, its easy to see why the return of Triplefest is as hotly anticipated as it is.
