Professor Green always gets recognised because of the "stupid tattoos" on his neck.

The 'Monster' hitmaker - who has the word 'Lucky' inked on one side of his neck and the initials 'P.G' on the other - admits he has had to come to terms with being stopped in the street by fans, and while he'd never hide from them, any attempts to disguise himself would be pointless, as his tattoos are so conspicuous.

He exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "It's trying sometimes, but at the end of the day the people I meet in the streets are the ones that matter the most, because they've taken the time to support me.

"What could I do with these bloody tattoos on my neck anyway? Stupid tattoos. I'd have to wear a turtleneck jumper and god knows what on my face."

"But I don't regret my tattoos, I like all of them and they all represent what's that's happened to me at different times so I'm happy with them."

Green - real name Stephen Manderson - also laments the fact he's now too famous to go out to his preferred club in London, Fabric, and has to frequent more exclusive venues, in order to relax.

He added: "It's a necessary evil, it's quite upsetting, because I can't go to the places I used to go. If I go to Fabric now it's chaos - I can't go there and rave like I used to. So I go to places where, although I'll get photographed on the way out, I don't get too much attention when I'm there.

"I still do rave a bit, but I take the party with me, I always roll with my friends. It's never uncomfortable."

Professor Green's single 'Monster' is released on October 3.
