The distinctive Welsh choir once again deliver a brilliant cover for the Portmerrion festival.

This is just amazing. Festival No 6 have enlisted the husky baritones of the Brythonaid Male Voice Choir, formed in 1964, to re-interpret Chic’s evergreen disco classic to ramp up the excitement for the festival. It’s sixty middle aged husky voiced men delivering a choral cover of a disco classic; and you can witness the genius measure for yourself below:
The choir were of course one of the distinctive successes of last year’s festivals (see their performance inside our review of Festival No 6 2012), and pretty much sum up the otherworldly and off kilter charm that lies at the heartbeat of the festival. Joining them this year will be fellow Welsh vocalist Manic Street Preachers, My Bloody Valentine, Chic (of course) and many, many more.
