If you’ve hit the dancefloor recently chanting along with the bump n’ grind refrain of “Hit me on my beeper, beeper, beeper, beeper”, then you'll already know the irresistible appeal of the track, a tribute to UK garage. A club classic already via the limited run on Counterfeet, the track has united house, garage and indie DJs alike, topping all the club charts and scoring single of the year in iDJ.  The new Domino version of the track features Kid Sister showing some serious attitude on vocals.  The video has been shot in her hometown of Chicago.

After conquering some of the world’s biggest decks as prominent DJs in their own right, The Count AKA The Count Of Monte Cristal AKA Hervé began perking up ears with his 'Ghetto Bitches EP' and has recently unleashed the club and radio smash "Cheap Thrills" while Sinden has built his reputation remixing everyone from Basement Jaxx to Bonde Do Role to Mark Ronson and collaborated on original material with the likes Solid Groove, Jesse Rose and Trevor Loveys.

Marking Domino’s continuing foray into club music, there’s a universal joy and fresh innocence here that’s damn near impossible not to like.

We’re talking fun, technicolor, party tunes that appeal to music lovers across the board, whether found combing the racks in Rough Trade, tuning in to the pirates, or seeking out the zeitgeist at a warehouse party in Sheffield. The Count & Sinden have soaked up all that is brilliant and interesting in dance and urban music of the last decade, while creating a new sound that is unmistakably of the moment.

The sound of good times, all the time.

Despite (or maybe because of) the single’s universal appeal, we couldn’t resist letting a few of our favourites give us their interpretations too – we’re including remixes from the likes of UK garage pioneer Sunship, Fake Blood (who give it a Baltimore meets London feel), Kanye West’s DJ A-Trak, drum and bass legend Jonny L and new school drum and bass front runners, The Qemists.  The single also features a brand new original from The Count & Sinden, the instrumental ‘Stinging Nettle’.

The single ‘Beeper’ will be released on the 24th of  March and The Count & Sinden will be releasing their highly anticipated, musically all embracing debut album later this year, which sets out to unite fans of hip hop, indie, niche and house alike.
