The Whip - May Tour

Fresh from tearing the rafters off every word-of-mouth gig venue known to man and with their debut album ‘X marks destination’, already causing a stir, THE WHIP have been selling out gigs across the nation, with tickets for their hometown show all snapped-up with 7 weeks to spare. Now the mighty indie-electro rockers have announced additional dates for their full-on, all ages Nationwide UK tour this coming May, including an over 18’s exclusive London date on May 14th at Brick Lane’s 93 Feet East.
 
THE WHIP are in pole position as the pioneering Pied Pipers of Manchester’s new brassic sound. Famed for their riotous, pounding live performances, their London date will see them return from a month long continent-wide European jaunt, paving the way for their UK tour and a jam-packed summer schedule that will take in every corner of the land. With their much-anticipated forthcoming new single ‘Blackout’ due for release on 7th July the band are set for a cracking summer.
 
At the invitation of The Whip, special guests for the London date will include indie-electro remixers de jour -South Central, who will be adding yet more infectious party mayhem to the mix and Kitsune’s Bitchee Bitchee Ya Ya Ya who will be making an exclusive appearance at the one off special.
 
To celebrate the imminent May tour a special Hadouken! remix of ‘Frustration’ will be available for free download exclusively at www.nme.com <http://www.nme.com> for one week only from the 21st April.
