Southampton has been a real hotbed of wicked events in recent times, with WeAreJunk enjoying a stellar year that has seen the rise further in the ranks of renowned and admired nights in the South. The last few months they have hosted Eats Everything, Detroit Swindle, Innervisions' Ame and the ever impressive Joy Orbison and Midland - and that's all in the last two months! So for their NYE party, we can't be blamed for expecting big things - which is exactly what WeAreJunk have delivered.

Some of the biggest party starters in the world descend on Southampton for one of the hottest New Year’s Eve parties in the country. The mighty Ben Pearce, one of the fastest rising producers and DJs in the country heads the line up. As one of the true revelations of the past couple of years, not least because of his ubiquitous top ten hit ‘What I Might Do’, Ben Pearce has gone from strength to strength, in demand at Bristol Festival Love Saves the Day, London’s one day spectacular Field Day, Isle Of Wight’s Bestival and the huge Berlin Festival at Flughafen Tempelhof. His mastery behind the decks is widely documented, drawing as he does on a wide and varied palette of dancefloor destroying goodness that makes him one of the most sought after DJs at the moment.

Queen of the Jackathon Heidi also headlines WeAreJunk’s end of year bash. Not content on being an ambassador for jacking, fizzing house music at its finest and hosting her tastemaking Radio One Residency Show, Heidi continues to forge new directions and throw incredible parties in the process with her revered jackathon parties. Her unmissable passion and boisterous mentality shine through in her bass fuelled, energy packed performances.

The killer line up continues with Darius Syrossian getting in on the action (check our recent interview with him here). As one of the leading purveyors of ‘true house’, Darius has made a name for himself in the past few years as a DJ of unending quality, passion, and prowess, which resulted in his close work with Steve Lawler right across the globe.
