Review of 15 Years of Jungle Syndicate
great music and such good energy with the djs. clearly a well advertised and popular event because i met lots of people from around the country who had come just for 15yojs. this meant a wide age demographic too and meant people were really there for the music so everyone was friendly and no shoving - not just uni students. the 5 rooms is such a great idea so people are constantly moving and things are less crowded. could've had 2 people on clockroom to speed up the queue is all. nice big smoking area.

Review of Cirque Du Soul: Bristol//Road to El Dorado // Conducta, P-rallel
Disaster... I've never ever felt the need to do this but the queue into Lakota was so packed and uncontrolled, we abandoned the queue and gave up on the night entirely. My friend fainted from not being able to breathe in such a tight environment with no order. We asked the spa**e security team for help and they told us to eff off. How long has Lakota been running and not been able to implement a normal queue system with sufficient resource to oversee the thousands of people. Any other venue seems to manage just fine e.g. Motion. Eff this place. It. Is. Awful. If your promotional company is thinking of using Lakota as a venue, as I imagine it's a lower overhead than the alternatives, then know that this reflects on your lack of thought for safety and comfort for the fans & ticket holders.
