Freedom Principle and Sketch City team up to bring you an exciting launch to this years Manchester Jazz Festival. This selection of urban jazz artists and DJs features sample/loop based grooves from guitarist Stuart McCallum (from the Cinematic Orchestra) with guest flautist Finn Peters and vocalist Heidi Vogel; the up-and-coming, intense and energetic Chris Illingworth Trio; and experimental grooves from the 14-piece electronics-big band fusions of BPBB. Ryan and Jon will be digging their crates drawing the line between jazz and various genres, taking in African, Brazilian, funk, soul, hip-hop and more. Book now, limited advance tickets available!
