Purple Collective, Live @ NIAMOS

Purple Collective close out the academic year with a statement show at one of the city's most iconic and historic venues. Treading the same ground as the likes of Nina Simone and The Beatles, Purple Collective brings through a crazy lineup to NIAMOS, Hulme.

Manchester DJ Andrew Ibi will kick us off, delivering two 100% vinyl sets, either side of two stellar 5-piece bands. It's co-founder and face of the collective David Kayode's quintet from 7.30-8.30pm, featuring a few Purple Jam house band regulars, followed by the electrifying Cassius Cobbson Quintet, all the way from London, to take you into the night. Finally, the energy is gonna be set to take the roof off by the night's end as we bring in Artist Lebo to drop a crazy concoction of Afrotech, Afrohouse and 3 step.
