Review of The Balearic Garden
Good music, venue was of a low standard and quality. Very luckily the sun was shining, if there was any rain it would have been a wash out as everything is outdoors, no covered space. Drinks were expensive for what was served.

Review of The Balearic Garden
Great venue, amazing lineup, the crowd was so chilled and friendly. We made some new friends who we have arranged to meet again! The facilities were good, plenty of toilets and bars. Can't really think of anything negative. Even the sun came out to play! Sasha and Digw**d's New Order tribute in the finale was the icing on the cake. Superb!

Review of The Balearic Garden
Abysmal venue, as others have said, unsuitable for crowds or music, forced into 2 very narrow areas with no escape. Toilets close to the crowd with nowhere to chill out. Considering the organisers have been posting for weeks about the "preparation", I wondered if someone had stolen the props overnight! What had this got to do with a Balearic Garden theme? Where were the fake flowers, greenery hanging on the walls etc, a few blow up palm trees, at least something that added some summer "Garden" atmosphere. I've seen better themed children's sleep-over parties.
This was literally 2 narrow gaps between buildings with 2 stages thrown up at the ends. Drink prices through the roof and substandard food options. Needless to say, we left early, which is something we have never done before, at any gig.
Organisers need to take a lesson from other venues that have got it right. It's not just about the DJ's with ticket prices as they are, you have to offer the whole package, with attention to detail, so that people leave feeling they've had value for their money! This was a 'make a fast buck' gig!

Review of Progress
A few things need changing, but an otherwise great venue to have in Manchester.
The good:
- Great music, all DJs brought their A-game
- Decent sound at the main stage, not world-class but more than good enough clarity and volume
- Nice, varied, friendly crowd
- Top atmosphere
The bad:
- appalling sound quality at the ironically named Soundgarden stage. Muddy doesn't even begin to describe it. The Function One speakers are completely wasted by bad setup in a space that acts as a natural bass-bin. Please get a proper technician in to sort it out.
- London prices at the bar and limited beer selection.
