Enjoyed the concept. Prices didn't appear as cheap as advertised on outfit ideas on the website. Some of the stock was really good, some of it was not what I would describe as vintage, more like used recent fashions. There wasn't enough changing rooms & long queues from them. From what I could see the fitting rooms didn't have mirrors? There were mirrors around the hall so a lot of people were getting changed outside the fitting rooms. The staff were great, friendly & helpful & hardworking.  I like that the stock was being replenished every hour & some funky music played. I'd go again but  I think there is room for improvement to make it more fun & a fuller event.

Review of Reading\'s Vintage Weigh & Pay

Although my partner and I found a few items, the majority of the stock wasn't 'vintage' – reminded us more of a jumble sale. Also, a lot of the handbags were dirty and had stains all over them.

Clothes were poor and look as though it was just items that couldn't be sold with an individual price tag. Rails were too crammed so difficult to look at items. Large space but very few rails meant a lot of people were packed into a small space. Very difficult to look around without getting in someone else's way. 

Expecting better items and more variety i mens clothes

Was OK, but cheaper and similar in charity shops
