Woodshrop Festival takes place Thursday 17th - Sunday 20th July 2025.

Woodshrop Festival is held at West Mid Showground is a peaceful family-friendly site on the banks of the mighty River Severn in the heart of Shrewsbury Town Centre. Shrewsbury sights, restaurants, and shops are within 15 minutes walk and just half an hour from Ironbridge Gorge and the Shropshire Hills. This site is in the centre of it all whilst retaining its country charm. Address: West Mid Showground, Berwick Road, Shrewsbury, SY1 2PF

There are no age restrictions at Woodshrop Festival.

The Woodshrop Festival opening hours for Day Visitors are:

  • Friday 19th July 24 - 18:00 - 0:00 (gates open at 17:00)
  • Saturday 20th July 24- 11:00 - 0:00 (gates open at 10:00)
  • Sunday 21st July 24 - 11:00 - 18:30 (Gates open at 10:00)

They also have no objections to drones being used as long as you meet the requirements of the UK civil aviation authority & fly within the accordance of the law. All drone operators will be held responsible for any damage, injury or loss.

Yes Woodshrop Festival have security 24 hours a day from the start of the event to the official end on Sunday evening.

Security will ask to see your wristbands and will search bags when entering the showground. Please have these on at all times to avoid issues.

Woodshrop Festival will have onsite vendors selling both food and drink however, you are welcome to bring your own food on-site if required and there will be dedicated areas for families to enjoy picnics.

Adults must drink responsibly and challenge 25 will be in operation.

On the advice of West Mercia Police, only alcohol purchased at the the onsite bars is permitted to be drank within the arena.

Campers are welcome to enjoy their own food and drink within their own camping areas. Please note that no glass is allowed on site at all.

All bars and food vendors at Woodshrop Festival will have contactless payment available. Stalls may be cash only so please bring cash to cover this.

There is no cash point on-site.

Well behaved dogs on a lead are welcome at Woodshrop Festival but please be aware that they may close areas to dogs if they get too busy for the dogs' own well-being.

All dog waste must be picked up and disposed of correctly.

Yes! There are paths all around the showground and ramps into all buildings at Woodshrop Festival. There are also disabled toilets and showers for those camping.
