Simmering in the North of England, a collaboration between two artists has been steadily taking hold. With Radio 1, RinseFM, XLR8R, Thump, and more getting behind their sound, 2ndSun have flourished in a relatively short period of time.

After announcing themselves with 2013's "Falling" on a vinyl only Well Rounded Edits release, they set about gathering speed with some well received remixes. After following this up with "Bespoked", another 12" exclusive offering on Ben Pearce's P&S imprint, and with "You Don't Make Proper Sounds" included on the latest Black Butter compilation in July 2014, the boys went on to top the JunoDownload charts with their "Shimmer" release on Tessier-Ashpool Recordings, gaining support from pivotal figures such as Skream, Shadow Child, and Monki along the way.

With a string of releases pencilled for the coming year, more remixes forthcoming, and accomplished back to back sets varying in style from house, techno, disco and soul; these are ones to keep an eye on.
