Double O (formerly known as 007) is easily one of the most respected heads in Jungle and Drum’n’Bass with a career spanning over 25 years.
Growing up inspired by Black music - especially his older brother’s Reggae sound system - his career propelled forward in the early 90s when he started playing Doncaster Warehouse alongside Carl Cox, DJ Ratty & Grooverider. In 1994 he released one of his most famous productions, the Undercover Agent EP on Formation Records, and has gone from strength to strength ever since.
Today, Double O’s most known for being the co-founder of club night and label Rupture, which he’s been running since 2006 with partner in crime DJ Mantra. World-renowned as the mecca for spiritual breaks and hard hitting bass lines, the Rupture team is headstrong
about creating a safe space for ALL ravers to express themselves. It's no wonder Rupture is often dubbed the best platform for Jungle and DNB in the world — including by Resident Advisor, Rinse FM, DJ Mag and Mixmag, publications where they feature regularly.
