In January 2016 KIRBY was scouted by Adam Cornes the founder of @ViewMyGig after she reached the Grand Final of national singing competition OpenMic UK. KIRBY actually lives in the same town as Adam and he gave her an opportunity in May to support ex Stereo Kicks Artist Chris Leonard. After hearing KIRBY perform live he instantly saw that she had something special and he has subsequently taken her under his professional wing.

16 year old KIRBY has had a whirl wind fews months following being signed to Indie Label VMGSounds. Her debut single Head vs Heart has charted for 9 consecutive weeks in the American Radio Airplay charts peaking at Number 9 in the Pop Genre and 138 in the overall Top 200. Head vs Heart has also been played by BBC Radio inc Derby, Nottingham, Leicester and Stoke on Trent.

KIRBY is fast becoming a genuine next generation artist and it is anticipated in 2017 she will continue to rise in popularity. KIRBY is unique, fresh and extremely versatile. She can sing effortlessly as well as Rap, RnB, Soul, Reggae and Pop from all eras.

Head Vs Heart is the first release of a 6 track EP currently in production. The EP will tell the story of a 16 year old teenager going through the highs and lows of growing up with relationships playing a major part in the plot. It is anticipated that many if not all boys and girls of this age will relate to the songs and the lyrics.
