Stockport-based artist Matt Jenks has come on leaps and bounds since deciding he wanted to become a DJ at the age of 15. The RANSM events frontman is quickly becoming one of the fastest-rising talents to come out of the North of the UK, due to an ever-growing catalogue of impressive releases.

A graduate of the revered ‘Make Me A DJ’ school in Manchester, Matt Jenks has learned the tools of the trade from some of the most prolific names in the UK scene - working alongside the likes of Kreature and Rudosa to develop his passion for electronic music and turn it into a definitive sonic personality of his own.

The young DJ/Producer has already turned some well-respected heads, with releases on the likes of Koda Recordings, Shanghaied and Baikonur Recordings giving the masses a taste of his creative capabilities. Some of his frequent advocates include Skream, Solardo, Jamie Jones, Detlef and Kreature - to name but a few.

Outside of the studio, Matt is also building momentum within clubland. His impressive CV already boasts some of the north’s finest club spaces - including Joshua Brooks, Mantra Warehouse, Kable Club and Gorilla. Several key bookings to date have allowed Matt to flourish alongside some of the industry’s most popular artists, having already supported the likes of George Smeddles, ANOTR, Paul C, Franky Rizardo and more.
