Award Winning DJ, Producer, Singer, Songwriter and classically trained musician Michael O’Brien, known to the current rave generation at large as main stage headlining artist MOB, has been writing, producing and playing out solid UK hardcore anthems since as early as 2008. Having already mastered the Guitar and the Piano as a child, MOB’s passion and enthusiasm for the creation of music has helped him carve a noteworthy career as one of electronic music’s most exciting new stars.

MOB’s body of work thus far is notably impressive. Famed for writing and producing hit UK hardcore singles on the THC Records label, upon which he also mixed the smash hit digital album ‘THC Anthems’ (with Supreme), his journey as a producer over the last six years has certainly been worth celebrating. In that time he has produced with Enemy one of the most successful free album download series in the scene’s history ‘The Album Sessions’ (now on its brilliant third instalment), laid down a number of cutting edge vocal UK hardcore smashes via his and Enemy’s own Anuva Level record label, performed a live guest mix on BBC Radio 1 and had original work released on several national television advertised hit CD compilation albums such as ‘Hardcore Heaven Summer Madness’ (through EMI’s New State Music), ‘Hardcore ‘Til I Die 3’, ‘Clubland X-Treme Hardcore 6, Clubland X-Treme Hardcore 7, Clubland X-Treme Hardcore 8 and Clubland X-Treme Hardcore 9’ released through All Around The World and Universal Music TV.

Such an esteemed production slate is of course equally backed up by an incredibly impressive list of tour dates and live show performances in which MOB has had the privilege of playing upon a stage for every major event promoter and organiser in the business. Such a list includes regular and repeat performances at Hardcore ‘Til I Die, Uproar, Hardcore Heaven, Slammin Vinyl, Ravers Reunited, We Are Hardcore, The Only Way Is Hardcore, Ravers Are:, Electrik, THC and Fusion just on the short list; a list, which also includes winning the Hardcore Heaven Award for ‘Best Breakthrough’ and continued bookings at HTID In The Sun in Spain (for a sixth year running in 2014) and also a performance at the eagerly awaited Ravers Ibiza (also in 2014).
