Born and raised on the Island of Bermuda, producer and visual designer Obeka explores his native sound and rhythm as he transitions into the Manchester Club scene for the past 8 years. The Me Gusta Collective Co-Founder collaborates in monthly sessions of cultural diaspora in music and art stemming from worlds such as Lisbon, Angola, Uganda and various others. Polyrhythm drums, infectious Kuduro tempos or nostalgic Reggae Dubs and Dembow endlessly sounding off in his father's car - each experience makes an impact in its own unique and individual way.
