Ozzy is originally from Gaziantep in Turkey and actually started his DJing career at a local radio station in Islahiye when he was only 13 in 1996.

He moved to Marmaris during the summer seasons at the age of 14 and began a residency shortly afterwards at Seaside Club where he was the youngest DJ in the city for 3 years. Ozzy continued his DJing in Marmaris for a further 6 years where he played at various huge open-air clubs and also played during the winter months.

He moved to Helsinki at the age of 23 and has played in many clubs around Finland.

He established ‘Pure Black Events’ in 2015; bringing and playing with DJs such as Enrico Sangiuliano, Matt Sassari, Latmun, Manuel De La Mare, Secret Cinema, The Yellow Heads, Egbert and many more.

Now living in the UK, Ozzy shares his time between there and Helsinki.

Recent gigs in the UK include Drumcode Halloween at Tobacco Dock, Egg London and Amusement 13 (Birmingham).

With his natural talent and charisma behind the decks, he says it’s the only place he can be himself.
