This constantly changing Amsterdam garagerock collective stems from Canshaker Pi and until recently remained badly underground. Their first and only single The Industry starts small and poppy with a cute melodica and xylophone, but ends up gray, hard, rattling and overdriven. Personal Trainer draws the line between soft pop and rattling guitars even within single tracks with a line to strong musicians, and will certainly not disappoint the lovers of Protomartyr, Pavement or ancestors Scram C Baby.
