We are the Dinner Ladies. We are artpunks from Liverpool, UK. We play primitive rock and roll and sing about things we believe in.
Started in 2008 and are part of Antipop Records of Liverpool and releasing three full-length albums and two vinyl EP's. Playing hundreds of shows around the UK and Europe and festivals such as Rebellion, Fire In The Mountain and Sound City.
Clever, witty songs about working class life involving Lorry Drivers, Cats & Dogs, always telling the truth and taking your mums advice. All set to a primitive, raw rock and roll soundtrack reminiscent of the Velvets, Cramps, Fall and Modern Lovers.
A band who actually sing about things they know and believe in and always with sense of humour.
This is Kitchencore!
“Classic. These songs could be sung into hairbrushes from Birkenhead to Bangkok”
SLACKER SOUNDS
“A way more fun version of Pulp, and a Victoria Wood sketch all rolled into one.
What's not to love?” SPOONFED, LONDON
