Biography

In 2 short years Simon Doty has become one of the most prominent tech house producers in the world. His signature sound infuses elements of house and techno to create powerful, high energy grooves. His tracks have been played and supported by the biggest names around the globe including Carl Cox, Dubfire, Richie Hawtin, Pete Tong, Umek, Mark Knight, Roger Sanchez, Pleasurekraft, Todd Terry, Chus and Ceballos, DJ Dan and many more.

2014 has already been a huge success for Simon Doty. His remix of David Penn’s hit “ A Different Story” on Toolroom Records reached the top 25 on the beatport charts. Simon’s follow-up track with Mike Vale called “ Revelation” created a massive buzz and became a beatport top ten hit. It received support from the biggest names and was featured several times on BBC Radio 1. Not stopping there, Simon’s Disco Slice EP in collaboration with the legendary DJ Dan has been unstoppable with both tracks entering the top 20 in the beatport charts and becoming massive Miami anthems.

The summer of 2014 has been a massive one for Simon. His summer anthem “ All Out” featuring MC Flipside on vocals was released as part of the Toolroom Ibiza 2014 compilation. He also has a follow up collaboration with Mike Vale on Umek’s 1605 label, and remix of the Rene Amesz hit “ Take A Chance” all released this summer, as well as a solo EP on the mighty Toolroom Records.

As a DJ, Simon thrives on bringing house and techno elements from various eras together while still remaining cutting edge and forward thinking. Simon has played in many of the hottest club destinations around the world including Ibiza, London UK, Los Angeles, Miami, Mexico City, and Cancun.

Simon Doty is clearly one to watch for 2014 and beyond as this young star continues to rise.
