Hailing from Essex UK, the 4-piece alternative pop rock outfit Two Year Break, fuelled by the undying support of their dedicated fanbase as well as some well-deserved attention from national radio and TV, are making an audible noise on the underground scene.
All 5 single releases from their debut album 'Do You Wanna Find Love?' released in October 2021 and produced by Clint Murphy (Enter Shikari, Busted, Manic Street Preachers), including 'Lovin' Every Day' featuring Charlie Simpson, saw extensive radio playlist support from Radio 1, BBC Introducing Essex, Kerrang! Radio and Triple J, with DJs raving about the band. The first single from a run of singles in 2023 has had extensive Kerrang! TV playlisting, with support from BBC Radio 1.
Notable shows to date include a second stage headline at Evoke Festival in Brentwood (Jessie J, Clean Bandit), Takedown Festival, multiple appearances at Camden Rocks (alongside artists like Twin Atlantic, Frank Turner and Deaf Havana), and direct support shows with The Kut, Hollowstar, As December Falls, and TheCityIsOurs at their sell out Camden Underworld show in April 2022. The band have also independently sold out their last 5 London headline shows, including Camden Assembly in November 2022, as well as their debut appearances in Bristol and Leeds on their ‘It Never Stops’ UK headline tour (May 2022), and 2023 appearances in Leeds, Brentwood and Chelmsford.
