Born to a Canadian mother and a Scottish father, Aaron moved at the age of four to Edinburgh. Aaron claims to have no memory of growing up in Edinburgh until he dropped out of school to move to London, in which he proudly claims "I skived school to hop a bus to see Paul Simon in Hyde Park at 16, they never took me back!" this was to Aarons favour as he later signed a record deal with D Set Records and released his critically acclaimed self titled album.

His debut received four stars from Mojo and Q Magizines and lead him to tour with the likes of Eliza Doolittle, The Charlatans and Laura Cantrell. He also stormed the festival circuit playing rousing sets at the likes of Glastonbury, Latitude, Hop Farm, Kedal Calling, T in the park and Bennicassim. This was all topped off by the invitation from Paul Heaton to join his rock opera 'The 8th' in which Aaron was one of the cast.

His follow up album 'Flying Machine' was released in November of 2015. It is produced by Francis Macdonald (Teenage Fanclub/BMX Bandits) in which his latest single 'proper Chronic Lonely' has been getting great radio play and attention. The video for 'Proper Chronic Lonely' also features Shaun Williamson of Eastenders and Extras fame, whom fell in love with the song after hearing it on Twitter. His new album continues to attract a lot of attention, notably from music legend David Crosby, in which he simply tweeted "I just love this" and a link to Aaron’s newest release. The future looks bright for this young troubadour and he has no plans to stop anytime soon saying, "it might be a circuitous road there, but I’m getting there in the end".
