Biography

Formed somewhere in the 5th dimension, Acid Mondays is the cosmic coalition of fellow psychonauts Negghead and Lex Wolf. Brought together by their love for fat beats, inter dimensional travel & cups of tea; they are on a never-ending journey exploring inner and outer space.

Expect altered states of hallucinogenic house and reality bending techno. It would be a cliché to say they have a great future, but they’ve been there and beyond and have returned to the NOW to do it all again…

Their debut EPs on ‘Illusion Recordings’, ‘Contemporary Scarecrow’ & ‘Deep Vibes’ in 2013 received great support, getting plays from Laurent Garnier, Tobi Neumann, Ricardo Villalobos, Dan Ghenacia,, Tini, Yousef and DJ Sneak.

2014 Saw them release a string of exciting remixes on labels such as 2020 Vision, Circus Recordings & Sublevel. They were also asked to remix Nightmares On Wax’s classic tune ‘Aftermath’ which was released on Warp Records as part of the 25 Years of Nightmares On Wax release. That and their remix of Doc Martin’s ‘Just Us’ received big support all summer from Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, The Martinez Bros, Apollonia, & Loco Dice to name a few.

As well as making their first appearance on Boiler Room and guesting on B.Traits show on BBC Radio 1 they also made their DJ debut for Circo Loco at the legendary Dc10 club in Ibiza.

Forthcoming releases include EPs for Adam Shelton & Subban’s ‘One Records’, Timo Mass’s ‘Rockets & Ponies’ & Ellen Allien’s ‘BPitch’ imprint. With up & coming dates at The Warehouse Project (Manchester), Below (Birmingham) Tenax (Italy), Fabric (London) & The BPM festival (Mexico) winter’s already warming up for the Ibiza based duo.
