Biography

ACY aka Andrew Christian Young hails from Kingston Jamaica and is an extremely gifted and talented Musician who now resides right here in the United Kingdom. Andrew is known for his expertise is playing the piano, organ and keyboard doing compositions, accompanying, directing, tutoring, co-producing and performing as a solo act in a fusion of jazz, classical, gospel, funk, reggae, neo soul, blues, latin, R&B and a wide genre of other musical styles and expressions.

The music scene in the UK has presented growing pains and opportunities for Andrew to further expand his musical experience and genre. He has worked alongside a few African based artists and has added to his fusion a mix of afro beats and other African genres.

He has worked as a lead musician in a few African based churches in London and later at the Ruach City Church.

Andrew has accompanied other artists such as Pk Boadie, Atta Boafo, Aaron T Aaron and appeared at the Jazz Café with international performing artist Kunle Ayo. Andrew accompanied Ben Audu and has been featured at Vortex Jazz Club and at the African Jazz Festival.
