Coming straight out of the shadows of Portsmouth UK, Akakios formed in late 2006. Influences by many different bands and movies, the band created a unique sound within their genre to deliver a fresh, modern, melodic and brutal sound. Technically crushing like death metal and furiously fast as thrash. Akakios really pull out all the stops. The band started out as simple side project between a few strangers, quickly becoming close friends and tight musicians. They have played a countless amount of shows with bands including Cilice, Enochian Theory, Tesseract, No Made Sense and Pure Negative.
