Ale Loy is an Italian singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, based in Glasgow.
He released albums and largely performed in Italy using the stage name “Zero Cinque†(2008-2013). In 2014, he moved to the UK to start a more ambitious solo project named “Ale Loyâ€. Here he has released the album “Wake up Early†(2015), the single “The Others†(2016) and his latest EP “Memories from the Present†(2019).
His music is a mix of electronic, acid-jazz and alt-rock, which also often contains elements of funk, hip-hop and electro-swing.
