Vinyl collector and selector currently based in Manchester with roots in the South West and North East of England. DJ'ing since 1997, Alec plays a wide range of music, mainly focused on house, deep house, dub techno, tech house, techno & electro, pushing sounds from the late 80's to the present day.

Alec created the Avenue Red imprint in summer 2013 in Newcastle. Avenue Red is a well-established platform for high quality house & techno music with unique character and depth, pushing DJs and artists based solely upon the quality of their output, the refinement of their taste and their dedication to the music. Commercially-driven reputation, inflated egos, "big names" and artificially-manufactured hype are of no interest. True quality shines in its own light.
