Alex Faulkner, born 14th June 1986, is a guitarist from Macclesfield, England. He earned an A in both Music and Music Technology A-levels at school and then earnt a degree in Music Technology at Leeds Metropolitan University. He soon intends to take a Music Performance course as well.

He came to prominence on the Macclesfield circuit with his first band, Satan Fish, who concentrated on heavy metal. However, he soon discovered blues, reggae, gypsy jazz and other more obscure styles of playing. Some of his main influences include Django Reinhardt, BB King and Robert Johnson. He has begun to play the Leeds circuit, mainly open-mic nights and intends to release his first studio-album very soon with his band, which currently has no name. Typically, the singer on his tracks is his old friend from school; Matt Hiom. Alex is in no way related to Newton Faulkner.

Alex is currently playing with Northern Business as Lead Guitarist but also partially as the Bassist. They have a myspace website - www.myspace.com - and are playing the exciting Leeds music scene.
